Adventures in styling

Following on from our Wirksworth Festival blog; With the influx of colour, styles and patterns in artists displays, we have also seen the same influx of artists, visitors (and locals) wearing bright colours, patterns and textures – seemingly much more than usual. Its great to be inspired and to appreciate beauty in all ways, and to feel unique in what your wearing, to truly love and enjoy it.
For me personally the adage that what I am wearing is ethically produced or sourced is not just a bonus, its a must. To have a few really good pieces that lift everything else is a much healthier way of shopping both financially and for all the people and processes involved.

For this reason at AIRR we are hosting a styling evening; Helping you get the most out of your wardrobe by pairing new pieces with existing items – helping you to get more than #30wears – the initiative founded by Livia firth, eco extraordinaire and founder of Eco Age and the Green Carpet Challenge.
So, come to our styling evening and preview the new Autumn/Winter collections and be wined and dined at Mercia! Feel free to bring along an item or two which you struggle to style or just not sure how to wear.
