It’s finally looking beautiful out there, I think it’s time to crack open the summertime jeans. They’ve got to look stylish but they’ve got to be comfortable and durable right? For all those summer strolls and tree climbing, barbecues etc….lovely!
I’ve decided to try on some of the Maison Scotch jeans for this blog. Lots of people I know have fallen in love with these jeans. I’ve heard people saying they they’re the perfect fit, they are true to size and they can be worn plenty of times before needing to be washed. There are lots of different styles to choose from, and a couple of pairs of chinos in the sale. When I went to try them on, it was chilly, so ignore the warm boots, though they do go rather well. I’m wearing my sandals now.
I usually only go for black trousers, but I’ve decided to leave out the black pair, there are a few lovely black denim pairs in the shop. The jeans are very good quality, feel really soft, and there’s a bit of a strechyness, so they are definitely good for fitting over any shaped leg. I have short legs, so I am very happy to say there are both long, regular and short leg sizes available. I think it’s a really good idea to pick out a few different pairs and try them all on before you buy, there’s lots to choose from. Heres what is on the Airr website about Maison Scotch.

There are lots of patterns and styles to choose from, the dotty ones actually go with a lot of different outfits. The stripey blue ones are very flattering and are very summery! Very light denim too. So not too hot for a nice warm day. (I hope it stays nice for a while!) They can be dressed up or down, the usual slouchy jumper in the evening with a scarf, or if you’re like me on a chilly morning, the double jumper look always works!
On warmer days jeans look great with a summery top such as:
I love this colourful top by Maison Scotch. It looks great with the black Maison Scotch jeans, if you needed a more dressed up look. Both made of light materials for the summer months, plus the neck line on that colourful top is fantastic. With a scarf for when the evening chill comes along.
My Favourite was the Haut pair. Faded blue denim with a high waist. Very comfortable and very wearable. They look great with the Green Skunk Funk top I’ve mentioned above with a pair of black sandals.
These jeans are easy to keep clean, 30°c in the washing machine if they really need it, or just a surface clean with a wet cloth. White wine vinegar works too. I’ll be wearing mine to the farmers market in Wirksworth today!
