NEW Brand Profile: Braintree

We are very excited to have the arrival of Braintree, an ethical and sustainable brand based in London but which first originated in Australia.

What we love most about Braintree is the simplistic, timeless beautiful clothing and accessories they create whilst caring for our precious environment (and our skin too, blog post coming soon on the benefits on natural fabrics for our body,) using only natural eco fibres such as hemp, bamboo & organic cotton.

They stand by strong ethics of helping support the factories they work with rather than changing season by season – creating more jobs, protecting wages, and developing skills as well as businesses. Braintree also work by a strict code of conduct endorsed and approved by the International Labour Organisation and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights focusing on:

  • Voluntary employment
  • Non-discrimination
  • No child labour
  • Freedom of Association
  • Wages
  • Working hours
  • Working conditions

So, you know about the company now – what about the clothing?! This seasons collection features a beautiful array of plums, natural, duck egg and for their winter range strong berry reds, navy and mustard yellow.

A few of our favourite pieces (and best sellers) from the collection so far:

Yindi Stripe Cardigan – £59.90
Kata Joota Batwing Top – £49.90 & Binda Marie Maxi Skirt – £39.90
Olba Lee Butterfly Leggings – £22.00

And they have great ideas for Christmas stocking fillers too:

Women’s Mixed Sock Gift Pack – £19.90
Men’s Mixed Sock Gift Pack – £19.90

So, if you are eager to see more of the range, come and visit us in store or online on our NEW website (blog post coming soon!) But be quick, we are quickly selling out of lots of styles already!
